As we are God's children, the Bible is a compendium of instructions, experiences and reference that we are meant to use as growth aids as we mature in the world. The word of God takes root in us and the people of the world we see that we are Christ's imitators, God's ambassadors and change agents on earth.
This is a call for us to truthfully examine our heart as see what occupies the priority seat, is it our quest to know God better and do His will daily ? Is it the cares of this world? Is it passion for the secular things ? Is it associations that don't add value or virtues ? This is not an exhaustive list but we all can relate.
Little wonder why the Bible urges us to guard our heart, purge it and take ownership because from it flow the issues of life. God has instructively asked us to love Him with our all- hearth, should, might and strength , it is when we are deep in His love that we will be able to have His nature and of course His character that will culminate in us being His worthy and referred ambassadors everywhere we find ourselves
