1 John 5:16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. (NKJV)
The Bible is instructive about this ,s so long as people don't blaspheme against God, they are still redeemable, yes you read right, the redemption in Christ is what we have as the news to take to unbelievers primarily and quite as important, we must look out for our brothers in Christ to restore them back on track when they fail or fall. We need to be gracious, tactful, sensitive and supportive while attempting this so they will find the path to tread to the Maker appealing.
If need be and I dare say more often than not these people are won over on our bent knees, we should take time to pray for them committing their hearts to God so that they will give in to the prompting and probing of the Holy Spirit to come back. Christianity is a community of people who are supposed to be considerate, vigilant and helpful even as we rob off on one another.
A brother loves at all times and a brother is born for the day or adversity, can you be entrusted with this deep friendship and support? Iron sharpens iron, so shall a friend sharpen the countenance of his friend, does this readily apply to you?
Grace and Peace to you
